There´s another rainbow picture attached, if you are in a rainbow mood again…
Ella and I did another treasure hunt yesterday, we made some Easter bunnies cut out from coloured paper and laminated them so they can be hidden indoors or outdoors!
We were also feeling energetic, so we took on the BALLOON CHALLENGE! Maybe have a go yourselves, it´s all about trying out different skills using a balloon.
Throw the balloon against the wall/door and catch it
Walk with the balloon between your legs
Hold the balloon between your feet, bend and stretch your legs
Throw the balloon in the air and catch it
Use a fly swat to tap the balloon, keep it in the air!
Good Morning Parents and welcome to our Newsletter, another day, another cool breath exercise for you all.
Many of the little ones have already done this game in kindergarten and they loved it! I hope you will too. Today is all about the power of our breath, and builds upon Tuesdays exercise.
I like to call it, Breath Race! In kindergarten we used feathers, however, all you need is a cotton ball or small balls of tissue paper… easy! So, let’s begin!
- Start by making two clear lines for your start and finish
- Use cello tape, or a simple towel
- You can do this game on the floor or at the table
- You can use straws if you have them, and if you don’t, no worries your breath is enough
- Line everyone’s balls up in a straight and fair line at the start
- Everyone takes a deep breath on the count of 3
- GO!!
- Who can get their ball to the finish line first by only using their breath?
- No hands, just use your breath to get your ball to the finish line first
This is a really fun indoor game, easy and the children really love it. So, parents’ good luck with this one, as the little ones are very good at this game.
Hope you all have a beautiful day and remember that this unique time we are experiencing will not last, “this too shall pass. It might pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass” Buddha quote. Hope that one makes you laugh and feel reassured.
Keep calm & play on….
